Metro Poland en Microsoft launch website

Agora and Microsoft launched, replacing both the former and websites. The new online edition of the free daily Metro (Agora) will offer news, lifestyle and entertainment, and consumer and shopping services.

Agora and Microsoft will develop the webiste during coming months and launch a mobile version as well. A major national advertising campaign is expected for October.


The editorial content of the portal will be created by a new multimedia editorial office responsible for both and the Metro daily. Anna Gasiorowska, deputy editor-in-chief of Metro, will be editor-in-chief of

“The editorial team of the portal will focus on news, lifestyle and human stories, entertainment and pop culture. They will also be very active in the consumer sector: providing latest advice and services as well as tests of new products and will take action on behalf of our online audience the way they currently do on behalf of “Metro” readers.”

The portal’s content will also be enriched by’s services including and global resources provided by Microsoft. Its users will have access to popular Microsoft programs and tools such as Internet Explorer, e-mail and Skype, alongside unique online content produced by MSN’s sites around the World including the Olympics and Oscars.
