Readers per copy: the Netherlands

gratis_lezersNo less than 4.2 people read every copy of Dutch free daily Spits. In 2007 this was even 4.3. Afther that the numbers of readers per copy dropped but it has increased over the last years.

Metro is lagging somewhat behind with 3.7 readers per copy on average in 2011.

De Pers (closed in March) had 3.4 readers per copy in 2009 but less in later years.

Regional newspapers in the Netherlands have 3 readers per copy on average. National papers have 2.7 readers per copy.
