Israel Today plans own printing plant
Free daily Israel Today (Israel Hayom) the leading paper in Israel, is panning to found a printing plant for its own paper.
Until now, the paper has been printed by paid paper Haaretz, and also uses Haaretz’s distribution network. (Globes)
Israel Today is owned and financed by American casiono-billionaire Sheldon Adelson. Adelson is a devoted supporter of Israels Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Israel Today was launched in 2007 with a circulation of 150,000 – now it is around 300,000. The weekend edition has a circulation of 350,000.
