Metro NY beats amNewYork in circulation
According to an item in Metro New York, the paper is now the free daily with the highest circulation in New York.
The six-month CAC audit ending March 31 2011 showed a circulation of 328,000. According to Metro the paper surpassed rival amNewYork in circulation.
In 2010 Metro had a circulation of 302,000 against 327,000 for amNewYork. As the CAC audit is not public, the new circulation of amNewYork is not clear.
Also news on readership of the two papers – more important than circulation – is not available.

You write that the circulation for Metro is 318, yet in the article you linked, Metro writes 328. Was there a change?
