Readership Canada prt. 2
In addition to the previous post on readership in Canada (2009/2010), I found some interesting data in a NADbank powerpoint on readership. One of the slides shows readership of paid and free readership in all Canadian major markets.
“Free” means reading Metro and/or 24 Hours (or 24 Heures), except for Halifax where Metro is the only paper. In the other markets – except Vancouver – Metro has more readers than 24 Hours/Heures.
If we compare that to the 2008 data, it’s very clear how readership of frees has increased. (The 2008 had no ‘paid’ readership.)
