Polish readership down
Since 2006 readership of most Polish newspapers has been declining compared to some years ago. Both leading paid papers Gazeta Wyborcza (Agora) and Fakt (Springer) lost readers since 2006. Their reach dropped from almost 20% in 2006 to 14% now according to the latest PBC data.
Free daily Metro (Agora) competes with tabloid Super Express for the third position. Both reach now 6.5% of the population.
Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, a merger between Springer’s Dziennik and economic paper Gazeta Prawna also lost readers. Rzeczpospolita and sports paper Przeglad Sportowy stayed more of less stable (click for better view).
