UK free circulation 2009

Total UK free circulation dropped with half a million copies in 2009 – mainly because of closures (London Lite, thelondonpaper, MEN’s free distribution, and Record PM). Without the conversion of the Evening Standard, the drop, however, would be more than a million. The development of the main titles in 2009 is shown in the graph (click to enlarge). The free circulation of Record PM (13,000 in 2009) and MEN (around 50,000) is not included.
