Ergo goes online only

Free Indian paper Ergo, launched in December 2007 by Kasturi and Sons Ltd., publishers of The Hindu, will go only online at the end of August.

The paper was distributed with a circulation of 50,000 in the Chennai area, and was aimed at young ICT professionals.

The publishers blame the world recession for the closure of the printed edition. The website, however, will continue. (EditorsWeblog)

With the closure of Ergo, India loses its only free daily newspaper.
