Bolleré’s frees do well in 2009

Although Vincent Bolleré’s industrial empire saw a small drop in revenues in Q1 2009, his free newspapers did well. The 23% increase in ‘other activities’ were mainly attributed to better advertising results for Paris free dailies Direct Matin (with Le Monde) and Direct Soir, and his TV station Direct 8.

Bolloré launched this year two new editions: Direct Toulouse and Direct Strasbourg. In 2007 he started Direct Bretagne (now Direct Nantes). (Boursier)
