UK frees see readership increase

The latest UK readership data by the National Readership Survey (NRS) revealed that quality papers and free papers have seen their readership go up most in 2008 compared to the year before.

Metro saw an increase of 24% to 3,318,000 daily readers; London Lite now has 1,128,000 readers (+37%) while thelondonpaper now has 27% more readers than a year ago: 1,033,000.

Also the Times, the Financial Times and the Guardian saw readership increase; The Sun, the Daily Mail and the Daily Mirror saw readership drop in 2008.
