Portland Daily Sun launched

Yesterday, February 3, the first issue of the Portland Daily Sun was distributed in Portland (Maine).

The paper counts 16 pages and can be read online as well as e-paper.

TV station WLBZ2 has a movie online about the launch, including an interview with editor Curtis Robinson. He and two other journalist will be responsible for content.

The Portland Daily Sun is the sister paper of the Berlin Daily Sun, the Laconia Daily Sun and the Conway Daily Sun (New Hampshire).

Circulation is 3000 while the paper is distributed from Tuesday to Saturday. Total circulation of the group is somewhat below 40,000.
