Israel Today weekend edition delayed

Israel Today’s weekend edition, planned to be launched in October 2008 (after the Jewish New Year’s holiday) is postponed. The paper, however, is still planning a weekend edition according to a spokesman in Israel business paper (Globes):

We’re continuing organization, including the hiring of employees, and logistics, for the publication of a weekend edition. We have not yet set the launch date.

The last TGI survey showed that Israel Today was in second place in terms of exposure rate, and was closing in on best-read Yediot Ahronot while and widening the gap with Ma’ariv.
