Spanish free circulation down again

Spanish news website PR Noticias published the circulation data of Spanish free dailies for the first 11 months of this year. Compared to October circulation of the four national titles 20 Minutos, Metro, Qué! and ADN went down with more than 10%.

Compared to November 2007, the circulation is almost 20% less. The average circulation for the four dailies over January-December is 3.3 million – half a million lower than in 2007.

Circulation in 2009 is expected to drop again as three of the four papers closed down editions at the end of 2008.
