Czech Republic: 24hodin closes

Czech free paper 24 Hodin by Swiss publisher Ringier will publish its last issue on December 19. The paper was launched three years ago and had a circulation of 210,000.

Of the four free dailies published in 2006 now only one remains. Kuryr only was published some months in 2006 while Metropolitni Expres merged with Metro in April of this year.

In November 2007 free business paper E15 was launched. (20 Minuten)
