M2F Shanghai wants to expand

Free daily M2F (Monday to Friday), published in Shanghai since August 2007, wants to expand the model to more Chinese major cities within three years.

M2F is a 24 to 48 pages free tabloid with a circulation of 300,000 copies, which is distributed to a target audience of the city’s ‘white collar’ workers, aged between 20 and 45.

Distribution channels include business and other commercial areas, residential apartment blocks, 150 bus, metro and mainline stations and over 1000 entertainment locations.

The slogan of M2F is ‘Breakfast for the Brain’.

The paper is operated by Ismay New Media Ltd (INM), a publishing and advertising group with operations – daily Chinese language newspapers, magazines and other publications – principally focused in China.

INM operates also a nationwide network of English language city InGuides magazines: annual guides for guests of the nation’s leading hotels.

The INM Group is active in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau and employs around 200 media professionals and support staff.
