Free dailies lead in Greece
Free dailies City Press, Metro and Metropolis are the best read newspapers in Greece, according to the last Bari research (March – September 2008).
City Press is the best-read paper with 295,000 readers (+14% compared to the same period in 2007).
Metro is second with a readership of 280,000 (+25%) while Metropolis is third with 183,000 readers (+16%).
Fourth Greek paper is Ta Nea with 174,000 readers. Ethnos, Eleftherotypia and Elefhteros follow on positions 5 to 7. All paid papers lost readers compared to 2007.
