Siglo21 from weekly to daily
Spanish language free weekly Siglo21, published in New England, will go to a daily circulation from 15 September (he first day of Hispanic Heritage Month) on. The paper will be published six days a week.
Siglo21 is based in Lawrence, Massachusetts (north of Boston) were most of the distribution will take place.
On Thursdays, the paper will distribute in more places in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire with a substantial Spanish speaking population.
In 2000 the paper was launched as a bi-weekly and changed to a weekly with a circulation of 25,000 after that.
Circulation of the daily will be 5,000 (10,000 on Thursdays). (Boston.com via Editorsweblog)
