Israel Today moves to six days in October

Israeli free daily Israel Today will introduce a weekend edition in October of this year, after the Jewish holidays. So far the paper was published on Jewish weekdays (from Sunday to Thursday).

The new Friday edition will have 80 or more pages, meaning twice as much as the current weekday edition. It will also contain a special weekend supplement.

Distribution and circulation of the Friday edition is still unclear. A substantial part of the weekday edition is distributed at workplaces that are closed on Friday.

Distribution of Israel Today is partly organized by paid daily Haaretz. Circulation of Israel Today is 255,000 copies a day.

Israel Today can also be home-delivered to readers in areas where there is no regular distribution. (Globes)
