After a long Summer holiday, French free dailies will return on the streets next Monday August 25.

The free papers Direct Soir and Direct Matin published their last pre-summer issue on July 11. Also the related  Plus-editions in most other French cities closed down after that date. Bordeaux even stopped on July 9. Marseille Plus, however, went on till July 18.

Also Metro and 20 Minutes published their last edition on July 11.
