No Spanish free dailies in August

All four national free dailies in Spain will stop distributing during the traditional holiday month August. Too many readers will leave Madrid, Barcelona and other metropolitan areas in this month.

Market leader 20 Minutos, ADN and Qué! stopped already on the 24th of July. Metro wished its readers a happy holiday on July 31.

In the past Metro tried to cover the summer with a special beach edition, but this year it will only be available online, just like the other titles.

    New free daily in Brazil

Wen I was surfing on this website, could see that the only newspaper at Rio de Janeiro, wasn’t inclueded here, and I’d like to add one more free daily newspaper in the world.
It named Metro Magazine. There is since 2006 August, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It’s wonderful to the city. We needed a newspaper like this.
    Look the website e enjoy.
