De Pers partners with TNT
Dutch free daily De Pers will be distributed in the 100 largest postal Business Points in the Netherlands, operated by TNT Post.
The Business Point are used by owners of postal boxes to pick up their mail. These owners are allowed to take 10 copies maximum of De Pers with them.
TNT Post and De Pers stated that they also looked for other forms of cooperation. (Adformatie)
The deal would mainly benefit business owners that want their customers to read a free papers. Other businesses probably won’t be to keen on letting their staff start with reading the paper.
The new distribution method is a move in the battle between the four national free dailies in the Netherlands. Together they distribute more than 1.8 million copies a day.
