European readership
WAN published the most circulated newspapers in Europe (see previous post). But what are the best-read newspapers in European countries?
In the table (click for enlargement) data from European countries with available audited data are presented. Most data come from 2007, some of them from 2006/2007 or 2007/2008. Portugal and Switzerland concern 2008 data.
For France, Spain and Italy the best-read sports papers are also presented. The readership figure is x 1000. In five European countries from this list the best-read paper is a free paper.
