Both free dailies in Singapore, Today and MyPaper have increased circulation from 250,000 to 300,000 in 2008. Today (MediaCorp) was launched in 2000 while MyPaper (Singapore Press Holdings) started in 2006.

MyPaper increased circulation earlier this year to 250,000 after the paper moved from a Chinese language edition to a bilingual newspaper. More than a third of the total Singapore newspaper circulation consists now of free papers.
