Newspaper Innovation

In September the part free / part paid Italian newspaper E Polis resurfaced after a long summer holiday. The paper had new management and partly also a new ownership (see previous post).

Also the websites of E Polis changed somewhat. On www.epolis.sm all the editions can be downloaded. Also the Saturday editions. Last Saturdays’ edition counted 48 pages and seemed to be free in Milan at least as the 0.50€ is crossed out.

The circulation is more modest now with 572,000 reported in the paper - half a year ago this still was said to be above 900,000.

The autumn 2006 / spring 2007 readership of E Polis was 515,000.
