L’Essentiel expected October 10
The first free daily in Luxembourg will launch on October 10. The new paper will be pubished by Edita, a joint venture between Swiss publisher Tamedia (20 Minuten) and the Luxembourg publisher Editpress (Das Tageblatt). L’Essentiel will be distributed in public transport, retail chains and through companies. There will be 30 people working for the micro-sized paper (half Berliner) that will have a circulation of 60,000. Capital city Luxembourg has 85,000 inhabitants, 62% are not from Luxembourg itself.
