German – but English language – magazine Press Business covered the East and Middle European markets with substantial free dailies market shares (Austria, Croatia, Switzerland) extensively in its last issue (August 2007). Also Slovenia which will have a free paper published this month is covered. Particulary interesting is the article on Austria, one of the most lively (and concentrated) press markets in Europe. The magazine also has an interesting article on newspaper cover prices.
