Normally we only cover free dailies on this website. Free weeklies have been around for much longer and also in amazing quantities. Some of them, however, have a distinct ‘daily’ look & feel. Sao Paolo free weekly Giro SP has something else that makes it stand out from the rest: it is not targeted at high income groups. On the contrary, Giro SP is meant for lower income readers. Giro will publish articles about health, public education, beauty, jobs, sports and entertainment. Circulation of the paper, that launched in March of this year is 20,000. Apart from Giro, also three other free dailies: MetroNews, Destak and Metro, are published in Sao Paolo.
