New Colorado free daily
Colorado, the state with the highest number of free dailies in the US, will get a new free daily in the northern part of the state this Sunday (August 12). Swift Newspapers, already operating free dailies in six other markets, will soon launch The Northern Colorado Tribune, to cover Greeley, Loveland and Fort Collins (north of Denver). The paper will print seven days a week, it will be home delivered and will available in racks as well. Swift also publishes the paid broadsheet the Greeley Tribune, in Loveland and Fort Collins Gannett publishes paid newspapers. Swift is also launching two and three days-a-week free papers in this area.
