Italian readership 2006/2007

According to the new autumn 2006 / spring 2007 readership Audipress data most paid papers in Italy lost readers while free papers saw readership grow. Gazzetta dello Sport had 3.6 million readers, La Repubblica: 2.9 million and Corriere della Sera 2.6 million. Free dailies follow: 2 million readers for Leggo, 1.7 million for City and just below 1.7 million for Metro. Both La Stampa and Il Messaggero are down to 1.4 million readers. E Polis, the free/paid model by Niki Grauso has 515.000 readers.
