Redeye weekend home delivered
Chicago free daily RedEye, by the Chicago Tribune, will launch a home delivered Saturday edition from May 5 on. The Saturday circulation will be 100,000 – 50,000 less than the weekday circulation. According to the management, the paper became profitable last year, when readership increased to 685,000. Although RedEye is free available in the standard Chicago newspaper boxes, there are also 1000 subscriptions to the weekday paper – for $1 a week.
