Plans for 5th London free daily

addis.jpgAfter Metro, City AM, London Lite and thelondonpaper a fifth free daily could be distributed in London within a few months. Former Evening Standard, Daily Express, Financial Times and Globe & Mail editor Richard Addis has plans for a door-to-door daily, Newsstand, to be distributed in upmarket London neighborhoods. Addis is aiming to partner with websites for content instead of making his own. Arts, leisure and ultra-local content will be important features of Newsstand. Initial circulation will be around 30,000. Addis wants to move to a paid subscription model later.
